900 000 refugees affected by snow storm in Lebanon

A wave of snow and heavy rainfall has hit parts of Lebanon and destroyed refugee camps.

Storm Norma, which started on Saturday and continued until late on Wednesday, hit Lebanon with heavy rains, snowfall and freezing temperatures, leaving at least 66 camps heavily impacted by the flooding affected 900,000 registered refugees.

Philippe Lazzarini, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon, explained what the organization is doing to help.
