Two men have been taken in for questioning in connection with an attack in which former Springbok hooker Naka Drotské was shot three times.
Drotské, who is now in a stable condition, reportedly lost ‘almost a third of his blood’.
It is being reported that Drotské and ex-Bok prop Os du Randt were at the house of Drotské’s brother, Tinus, in Kameeldrift, when five armed robbers stormed in and began shooting.
According to AfriForum’s head of security, Ian Cameron, Drotské was shot in the arm and chest while trying to protect his family.
