Long jail term for rape convict

A 26-year-old rapist Martin Tebogo Mamabolo from Mankweng outside Polokwane was yesterday sentenced to an effective 40-year jail term for two counts of rape that he committed between 2014 and 2015 by Polokwane regional court.
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the accused was using the same modus operandi in which he would lure his victim by advertising that he is selling an RDP house a unit F in Mankweng.
He said the accused in 2014 raped a 57-year-old woman from Ga-Matlala village, the other accident took place when he gentle persuade a middle-aged woman whom he met on the street.
Ngoepe said Mamabolo took her to the house and while inside inspecting the house, he dragged her to one of the rooms and raped her.
