Man dies from uknown causes during scuba dive

National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) station 20 say they they were alerted by a dive chater boat reporting to be heading towards Shelly Beach with drive crew conducting CPR on a 65-year-old male reported to have stopped breathing from unknown causes during scuba dive in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

According to NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, The man had been recovered on to the dive chater boat, and the dive chater crew initiated CPR and raised the alarm alerting NSRI station 20  Shelly beach who responded to meet the boat on its arrival.

Limbano says on arrival, the paramdics continued with advanced CPR, but sadly after all efforts to resuscitate the man were exhausted, he was declared dead. His body was taken in to the care of foreincic pathology services.
