Police spokesperson, Ruth Solomons, says, the officers spotted a white VW Polo circling in Hanover Park, but the driver sped off when he spotted them.
The officers gave chase and called for back up, and managed to box in the vehicle between Rylands Walk and Donica Court.
Solomons says during a search of the vehicle, officers found a sealed packet containing 50 grams and 200 ziplock packets of tik, with an estimated street value of 19-thousand rands.
