Manhunt underway for murder suspect
The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Tubatse outside Burgersfort have launched a massive manhunt for a murder suspect from Driekop Village.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, says it is alleged that the suspect attacked and assaulted his 28-year-old wife, Phaswana Seava Mohlala before he fled the scene during 2017.
According to Ngoepe, police were summoned to the scene and started with the initial investigations.
Ngoepe says a manhunt for the suspect ensued but police were unsuccessful in their efforts to locate Mohlala’s killer.
Ngoepe says the police are calling upon the deceased’s husband to visit the Tubatse Police Station or to go to the nearest SAPS to assist them with the ongoing investigation into this matter.
