The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) says it has welcomed Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng’s statement calling for members of parliament to focus on implementing ethical leadership.
OUTA’s CEO Wayne Duvanage, says, Chief Justice Mogoeng’s call comes at a pivotal time in this democratic country’s history.
Duvanage says over the past few years the party has seen rampant corruption wherein a number of members of parliament and the cabinet have been implicated, including the former President.
He says OUTA trusts that Mogoeng’s comments are being heard and taken seriously by the ruling party’s leadership and more so by President Cyril Ramaphosa, as he prepares to select his new cabinet.
