Two male suspects busted for dealing in dagga in Paterson

Two male suspects aged 29 and 34 have been arrested for dealing in drugs on the R342 between Paterson and Addo in the Eastern Cape.

Paterson police members on patrol spotted a suspicious silver grey Opel Zaphira with a trailer at 22:30 on the R342 and according to police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, the police turned their vehicle around when the Opel sped away from the them.

The police members then chased the vehicle and after a few kilometres managed to pull it off the road and searched it finding 29 bags of dagga weighing 640 kilograms with estimated street value of over 1-million rand.
