Eastern Cape police arrested two suspects, both aged 27 on Monday for dealing in dagga in Elliott.
Police spokesperson, Captain Ursulla Roelofse, says, officers were patrolling around Barkly East when they received information of two suspects that were carrying a big bag.
The suspects were surprised when the members quickly responded to the said place and on their arrival met with the suspects carrying the bag.
The members then interviewed the suspects just to determine that the suspects were carrying dagga to Barkly East to sell it.
Roelofse says 7.670kg of dagga was confiscated and the suspects were apprehended.
